Dr. Rose Medical Center was promoted to International Vaccination Center in 2009. At our privately operated center appointments can be made at short notice, in a welcoming atmosphere and with a proffesional backround of our medical staff administering vaccinations.
Our doctors assist travelers in deciding the vaccines, medications, and other measures necessary to prevent illness and injury during international travel. The Center works in accordance with the professional recommendation of CDC (Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention), and WHO (World Health Organization).
Our services:
- Individual risk assessment to determine the traveller's health risks based on travel itinerary: location of travel, time and duration, travellers’ age, style of travel, anticipated travel activities
- Current immunization status of the traveller
- Evaluation of any underlying health problems (e.g. pregnancy, chronic illness)
- Status of infectious diseases and other health risks at destinations during the proposed time of travel.
- Risk-reduction strategies, including recommended vaccines and behaviour modification to maintain health
- Strategies for the management of illness while travelling
- Provision of routine, recommended and required vaccines
- Administering vaccinations
