Children are not just "small adults”: when a child feels sick, we cannot rely on our own experiences only. A pediatrician should be consulted in all cases, since illnesses, if ignored or not properly treated, may have long-lasting effects. Children are, in many ways, much more vulnerable and more sensitive than adults. In many cases, consulting a qualified and experienced doctor who knows the child's medical history is advised even for well-informed parents.
By launching the Pediatrics Unit of the Dr. Rose Medical Center, we aimed to ensure that the latest medical knowledge and technology are available to our clients in an environment where children can feel comfortable and relaxed, and we can all concentrate on ensuring, restoring and maintaining good health.
Why use the pediatric services of the Dr. Rose Medical Center?
- Emergency pediatric care 24 hours a day: Pediatric service 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week (including holidays) in your home or at our clinic by our specialists, as required.
- Child care for newborns and infants: Family pediatric service, including the monitoring of the child’s physical and psychological development, consultation on child rearing issues, the administration of mandatory and optional vaccines.
- Pediatric and family doctor services: including in-home care.
- Ambulatory pediatric services and surgery: If your child's condition warrants treatment at our clinic (e.g. the administration of intravenous medication, pediatric infusion, clinical observation), we can provide that as well as part of our outpatient services.
- Pediatric screening: Screening packages or a personalized service package.
- Administration of mandatory and recommended vaccines: Making up for skipped vaccinations, adherence to the vaccination regime of other countries, the administration of mandatory and optional vaccines, including the acquisition of the vaccine itself if requested.
- Health certificates for camps and schools: Issuance of health certificates for schools and camps as required, based on pediatric examinations.
- Preferential services at our state-owned partner hospitals for non-ambulatory patients.
- Specialist pediatric services: specialists in the following fields: child allergy and immunology, pulmonology, neurologic diagnostics, pediatric dermatology, pediatric cardiology, pediatric endocrinology, pediatric nephrology, pediatric gastroenterology, pediatric developmental optometrics and pediatric ophthalmology, pediatric otolaryngology and pediatric orthopedics.
