Category A
According to law, the following are included in this category:
- Employees in physical worker positions (manual labor) in the mining and metallurgic industry and employees involved in non-physical scopes of activities who spend more than 50% of their working hours in such an environment that can be classified as ‘Category A’ regarding occupational healthcare.
- Employees exposed to carcinogens
- Employees working with radioactive or unknown (toxic effect not yet examined) materials
- Employees involved in animal testing
- Employees working in scopes of activities that entitle them to preferential retirement
- Employees working in scopes of activities that entitle them to reduction in working hours
- Employees directly involved in railway traffic; employees involved in scopes of activities that are bound to professional examination in air and water transportation
Category B
According to law, the following items are included in this category:
- Manual workers involved in the following economic activities:
Agriculture, hunting, forest industry, building industry, production of food and drinks, production of tobacco products, production of textiles, production of clothing, preparation and dyeing of fur, preparation of leather, production of leather articles and shoes, conversion of timber, conversion of mineral oil and production of coal, production of basic chemical materials and products, production of rubber and plastic articles, production of non-metal mineral products, recovery of raw material from waste, transportation on land and through pipelines, transportation by water, air transportation, production of furniture healthcare and social services, animal healthcare, production of typographical articles.
- Employees who spend more than 50% of their working hours in such an environment that can be classified as ‘Category B’ regarding occupational healthcare
Category C
According to law, the following are included in this category:
Physical scopes of activities in branches, sectors, sub-sectors, professional sectors, industrial service providers, researchers and in connection with activities of computer techniques which cannot be classified into ‘Category A’ and those non-physical employees who spend more than 50% of their working hours in such an environment that can be classified as ‘Category C’ regarding occupational healthcare.
Category D
According to law, the following are included in this category:
- Employees involved in research organization, culture, education and other administrative activities
- Employees involved in non-physical scopes of activities belonging to Category A, B and C and cannot be classified into other categories.
